Terms and Conditions 

 

• Campion Insurances Ltd trading as Campion Insurance, Bestquote.ie, ISME Insurance Services, Venture, Future (the Firm) are hosting a competition where Campion Insurance will provide the winner with a €20 Gifty Voucher (‘Promotion’);
• Only open to those that have correctly answered the question on either the Campion Insurance Twitter, Facebook or Instagram accounts;
• Closing date for entries is Friday 25^th June 2021;
• All correct entries will be entered into a draw, and the winners will be randomly selected on Monday 28^th June 2021;
• No direct employee of Campion Insurance, employee family member, agent of Campion Insurance or anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion will be included in this draw;
• Winners (Gifty Recipient) will be sent a live URL web site link (“Gifty Link”) via email to allow them to Register a Gifty Membership Account and access their Gifty Credit. Winners are advised to carefully store their Gifty Link. This will be in e-mail format so will be available for re-use provided the recipient does not delete it. It is recommended that you do not forward your link to any 3rd party or indeed unintended recipients as once your Gifty link leaves your control it may be used by those who receive your e-mail. You are responsible for managing the security of your e-mail. Gifty credit will not be reissued if you have shared, whether intentionally or unintentionally, your Gifty link with a 3rd party or indeed unintended recipients; 
• When first activating your Gifty voucher, you will be asked to Register using a Username & Password. This is a security function to ensure only the intended Gifty Recipient has access to and ultimately benefits from the Gifty Credit issued by Campion Insurance. Once a Registration is successfully completed, the user is automatically a member of the Gifty loyalty programme and can use the same Registration credentials to access future Gifty notifications;
• The Username can be anonymous and does not have to in any way identify the actual personal details of the Gifty Recipient. At no point does Gifty require specific personal details or contact information in order for the Gifty Recipient to benefit from the programme;
• There will be no future marketing of Gifty to the Gifty Recipient given that no contact information is requested or stored as part of the Registration process. Should you wish to be notified of Gifty news you can access the “Notify Me” section of the portal and declare voluntarily your contact details specifically for this purpose;
• Registered Gifty Members will also be able to access their profile via the Gifty.ie website under the “Member Login” facility by entering their Username & Password;
• Having converted your Gifty Credit into a Digital Gift Code you will then be able to use this code as either full or part payment for products or services rendered with that Retailer. Please be aware that Gifty Retailers may permit Digital Code Usage either a) In Store Only b) Online Only or c) Both Instore & Online. These conditions are clearly set out in the direct Gift Code Terms & Conditions and should be referenced before making your selection;
• Gifty Credit will not be reissued if you have selected a Retail Partner and then wish to change your choice based on realising post selection any of the above limitations;
• In using your Gifty, you will have access to navigate the Gifty platform within which you can browse Participating Retailer options and make Gift Code selections within your Gifty Credit allowance. Gifty Recipients will also be able to store their Gift Codes in the Wallet section of the platform as well as print, create a PDF or simply view their Gift Code (it is also popular for Gifty Recipients to “screen shot” their Gift Code for ease of future use on mobile devices);
• Gifty Recipients can access the platform several times by using the link originally sent to them by Campion Insurance or for registered Gifty Members via Gifty.ie. Such access however will only be possible within the timeframe of the Gifty Window. If you have only part used your Gifty Credit in an earlier session, your next visit will clearly set out your remaining Gifty Credit as well as retain full access to the above features. Please note that once Gifty Credit has been exchanged for Digital Gift Codes with Participating Retailers, you must retain a copy of the Digital Gift Code(s) as it is not possible to re-issue Digital Gift Codes post the closing of the Selection Window;
• It is important to note that Gifty does not fall within the parameters of The Consumer Protection (Gift Vouchers) Act (2019). This Act was designed to address Consumers who directly purchase Monetary Vouchers from Retailers at full Retail Value;
• Therefore, it is important to note that winners will have 3 months from receipt of their Gifty Link to generate a Digital Gift Code;
• Once a winner generates a Digital Gift Code they will then have 12 months to use their Digital Gift Voucher with their selected Retailer from the date of their selection;
• Campion Insurance nor Gifty will not be liable for the refusal of any Participating Retailer to accept or honour their Digital Gift Code for any reason. In such an unlikely instance, Campion Insurance ask that you report the details of the event to the Gifty Customer Support team (support@gifty.ie) and they will investigate the matter on your behalf. If the outcome of the investigation finds favour with you, the Gifty Recipient, Gifty will issue a corresponding Gifty Credit to you on the same terms as the original Gifty sent to you;
• If a Participating Retailer becomes liable to make a refund to you, Campion Insurance nor Gifty will credit the amount of any refund to the Digital Gift Code. All refunds are a matter between you and the relevant Participating Retailer;
• In purchasing from a Participating Retailer, you are entering into a contract with that Retailer directly and as such will have left the confines of the specific Gifty environment;
• The Retailer’s direct Terms & Conditions will then apply. In the unlikely event that you encounter a poor experience with that Retailer and if that experience has resulted in injury, harm or loss – you must address the matter directly with that Retailer. Campion Insurance or Gifty assumes no liability for such instances;
• Gifty do however encourage the reporting (at your discretion) of any such instances to Gifty from a Customer Care perspective to enable them to investigate such instances in the spirit of ensuring a high level of quality service from Participating Retailers. See contact details below:

• The weekly prize consists of 10 €20 Gifty Vouchers;
• Only one entry per person, and only one voucher can be won per person;
• The prize is as described, no transfer or alternatives will be provided, there is no cash alternative;
• By participating in the Promotion you agree to these terms & conditions;
• Winners will be chosen at random from the pool of entrants who correctly answered the question;
• Campion Insurance reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control;
• Decisions of Campion Insurance are final and no correspondence will be entered into;
• Campion Insurance reserves the right to draw an alternative winner in the event that we believe that any winner has contravened any of these terms and conditions;
• Campion Insurance reserves the right to draw an alternative winner in the event that no contact has been made within a 48 hour period of first attempt.
• Entry into this Promotion will be deemed to be a full and unconditional acceptance by the applicant of the Terms and Conditions of this competition. A failure to adhere to these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the competition and, if applicable, forfeiture of the prize(s).
